Netflix has a new romantic film, My Oxford Year!
Here’s the film’s synopsis: When Anna (Sofia Carson), an ambitious young American woman, sets out for Oxford University to fulfill a childhood dream, she has her life completely on track until she meets a charming and clever local (Corey Mylchreest) who profoundly alters both of their lives.

Corey, who starred in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, teased what to expect for the Netflix movie: “Getting to meet, work, spend time, talk, joke with the cast and crew … they are absolutely crucial to why I think the film is good. You can expect some laughs, a lot of love, maybe some sadness, a couple of surprises along the way, but [you can expect] to meet two really lovely, very human characters and all of their amazing friends and family. Get ready for a lovely journey.”
The film debuts on Netflix on August 1.
