Cobra Kai star Alicia Hannah-Kim is breaking her silence on what went down with her co-star Martin Kove.
If you don’t know, the incident took place at a fan convention in Washington state earlier this month, where many members of the Cobra Kai cast were also in attendance.
Alicia claimed that Martin bit her arm and nearly drew blood, then kissed her arm when she yelled out in pain. Police got involved, but Martin was spared an arrest as Alicia declined to press charges against him.

In an Instagram video, Alicia shared some messages to fans.
“I know that there’s a lot going on in the world right now so I’m going to keep this brief. I was really enjoying my time at Summer Con. I love meeting you guys in real life. Thank you to Taylor who was my handler and took care of me all weekend,” she began.
She continued, “But as you can see, this was a serious incident. No one wants to be attacked at work, or anywhere really. And I don’t think anybody would think this is normal or warranted or acceptable.”
“I just think that when you are confronted with something like this, it’s good to stand up for yourself. It’s an important choice to make. I think it’s the good choice to make,” she added.
She also said she did not want this to impact how fans think of the show, as her overall experience has been great with everyone else.
“I think everybody could tell that it’s a really great vibe and a great cast and everybody else is delightful. So I don’t want this to affect your love for the show and feel free to love on it as hard as you want. I just wanted to come on here, say thank you to everybody, and just clear it up and move on,” she said.
Martin Kove did end up issuing a public apology.
