Tiny Chef will no longer be serving up dishes in his kitchen.
It was just revealed on Tuesday (June 24) that the Nickelodeon series, The Tiny Chef Show, has been canceled after two seasons on the network.
As a social media sensation before getting a TV show, the cancelation news was announced with a video shared to the show’s official Instagram page, and it has gone viral for how sad it is.

Tiny chefs cooking show has officially been cancelled (very unexpected) and without the support of a major network we need crowd funding to keep cookin’ over here,” the creators captioned the video. “Yesh this es weal! We want to thank @nickelodeon for giving Chef two blamazing seasons and all the besties he made there. Chef wouldn’t want anyone to blame his friends over there, he’s just deeply sad he doesn’t get to continue hosting a show he adores. Please let cheffy know how much he means to you in the comments he’s really feelin this one.”
In the video, Tiny Chef can be seen tending to a plant when he gets a phone call from Nickelodeon. He asks if they’re ready to cook up more episodes and says he has a million ideas, but the tone quickly changes as he’s told the show has been canceled and he makes his pleas for it to continue.
Tiny Chef stars to cry, and says he understands. After hanging up, he tries to go back to tending to his plant, but can’t and goes to sit on the bed and cries into his hands.
If you didn’t know, Tiny Chef started out on Instagram in 2018, released a picture book in 2020 and even had RuPaul narrating the audiobook and serving as announcer on the TV show!
