After Patrick Schwarzenegger‘s role as Saxon Ratliff in The White Lotus Season 3 inspired a gay porn parody. The 31-year-old star portrays a bold young businessperson who visits Thailand with his family and gets involved in a taboo relationship with his brother. While his performance earned widespread acclaim, it also led to an adult film adaptation, which he found out about in an unusual way.
The Midnight Sun actor recently shared that he’s experienced “some really weird situations” since taking on the role of Saxon Ratliff in Mike White‘s dark comedy anthology series’ third season.
Speaking to W Magazine, Patrick Schwarzenegger described how he learned about a gay porn parody based on his White Lotus character while working out.

“Last week, I was at the gym with two of my friends,” Schwarzenegger noted. “And a guy walked up to me and said, ‘I love your work, and I had to come over to you because my boyfriend just booked playing Saxon Ratliff in The Tight Lotus. I said, ‘What is that?’ And he said, ‘Tight Lotus—it’s a new porno coming out!’ And I said, ‘Excuse me?’ And he goes, ‘Yeah—he’s playing you.’ I was like, ‘Oh my god,’” he added.
Taking inspiration from Patrick Schwarzenegger’s portrayal of Saxon Ratliff in The White Lotus Season 3, adult entertainment company Men.com announced their parody film The Tight Lotus through their Instagram last month.
The White Lotus Season 3, featuring Schwarzenegger alongside Walton Goggins, Carrie Coon, Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, and Aimee Lou Wood, wrapped up its eight-episode run on HBO Max on April 6, 2025.
While another season is confirmed, the fourth installment’s release timeline hasn’t been announced by the creators yet.
