Tammy Hembrow and her husband Matt Zukowski have split.
The 31-year-old Australian fitness influencer and the 29-year-old model and Love Island Australia TV personality have called it quits after seven months of marriage, she confirmed in a TikTok Video.
“I wanted to finally tell you guys that I am going to be getting a divorce,” she said.
“I know a lot of you have been following my journey, so I wanted to be open about it.”
S“I don’t want to get into details, and I’m not one to try and bring anyone down. I just want to be sensitive to everyone involved. I don’t want to talk about anyone other than myself, to be honest. Did I think this would happen? No. Did I want this? No. Obviously, when you marry someone, you do it thinking that it’s going to be forever. I blame no one but myself,” she continued.

“I feel like I’ve made not the best choices when it comes to relationships,” she went on to say. “I feel, like, I’m really good at putting on rose-colored glasses or getting swept up in it all. Obviously, the worst part is that I have kids. I don’t care about me. I know I’ll be OK, but I feel awful [for them].”
The couple met online and got married in November 2024. She shares children Wolf, 9, and Saskia, 8, with ex Reece Hawkins, and daughter Posy, 2, with ex Matt Poole.
“This is my first marriage FYI [and] nothing anyone could say could make me feel, like, more s*** that I already do,” she added in the video. “[Or] like, more humiliated. … End of the day, I know this is what needs to happen and there’s no other option.”
“I want to focus on my kids and focus on healing and all the good things in my life,” she said. “There’s a lot. I just want to say thank you to everyone [who has been] really kind and supportive. I swear I’ve been feeling good. I think talking about it makes me cry.”
She’s also had “life-changing” therapy since.
“I feel, like, there’s been periods of my life where I’ve gone to therapy, and I never stuck with it,” she said. “This whole experience has made me feel, like, I still have a lot of growing to do [and] a lot of work to do — but I’m giving myself grace, or I’m trying to. There’s a lesson in everything, and hopefully, this time I learn it and am more cautious going forward.”
Matt also issued a statement on social media.
“It’s with a heavy heart I share that Tammy and I have decided to separate,” he wrote via his Instagram Stories. “Both of us have struggled with making this decision. However, we need to do what is right for ourselves and her three children.”
He went on to say: “This wasn’t a decision we took lightly. Our time together will always be cherished and never forgotten. We appreciate everyone’s support and space at this time as we navigate the split.”
