Anna Camp is speaking out in defense of her relationship with Jade Whipkey!
The 42-year-old actress and the 24-year-old writer and stylist made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Anna‘s new movie Bride Hard last week.
After the event, Anna thanked Jade for joining her, writing, “To my girlfriend @jadewhipkey for being my date and for making me glow.”
A couple days later, video of their red carpet appearance was shown on Instagram, with their ages, and the comments were met with plenty of criticism about their 18-year age gap. Anna took to the comments herself to address the criticism.

“Thought I’d jump on here… and just say I’ve dated men exactly my age and Jade is FAR more mature than any of them,” Anna wrote. “We have more in common than anyone else I’ve ever dated and can literally talk about anything and everything ♥️ Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I’m wishing everyone well 🙂 Especially this Pride month 🌈”
Anna and Jade‘s red carpet appearance came a month after they soft-launched their relationship on Instagram story. However, they’ve actually been together for much longer. Back in February, they appeared in a TikTok video where they talked about their worst dates, and Anna referred to Jade as “babe.”
