It’s not exactly new news that Superman actor David Corenswet is married with a child…but new fans might not know anything about his personal life!
The 31-year-old DC Universe star gave an interview where he spoke out about where he met his wife, Julia, 34. They are very private, but some unconfirmed reports suggest that David‘s wife is Julia Best Warner. She’s also an actress, previously seen in Netflix’s Ratched.

In a new interview with People, David shared that he met his wife when they were teenagers at a summer theater program in his home state of Pennsylvania!
He said their relationship was a “slow burn” and they said “I do” in 2023. They welcomed a child, said to be a daughter, in early 2024. He also began filming the James Gunn superhero flick around that same time!
Of that time, he shared that it was “two big unknown things at the same time. And they were both great things.”
“I feel like I’ve been a dad for a long time, and just waiting for a kid to prove it. My dad was an enthusiastic father and stayed home with my sister for a period when she was very little, and was very good with kids. And so I think I just inherited that. I liked being a camp counselor, and I have terrible jokes that nobody laughs at,” David added.
He’s also a dog dad! Ira, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, is “less of a doggy, more of a toddler,” and he did visit the Superman set.
