Ariana Grande is mourning the death of her grandmother, known to the world as “Nonna.”
Marjorie Grande passed away at the age of 99 and the Grande family released a joint statement to announce the devastating news.

“We are devastated to share that the beloved matriarch of our family has passed away. Marjorie (Nonna) Grande passed peacefully in her home and was surrounded by her family and loved ones for every moment of her last few weeks. We thank you for your love, support and for respecting our privacy as we grieve and celebrate her beautiful, extraordinary life. Love, The Grandes,” the statement read.
Ariana‘s mother Joan Grande shared the post on her Instagram Stories and Ari reposted it to her page.
Back in November 2024, Ariana flew to her hometown in Boca Raton, Florida to take her grandma to the movie theaters to watch Wicked.
