Sherri Papini, the blonde scamstress who gained notoriety in 2016 for fabricating a fake kidnapping that resulted in her pleading guilty to lying to the FBI and serving prison time, is now changing her story once again and claiming she WAS kidnapped.
ID gave her a whole docuseries (and People magazine gave her a cover) to perpetuate this new lie. She now claims that everything she said about being kidnapped and branded was true, but that her kidnapper was her ex-boyfriend James and not two hispanic women as she previously claimed.
No word yet on if James is planning to sue her for defamation. (Come on James, we’re rooting for you!)
