What happened on TikTok this week? Here’s a quick roundup. (Wish LJ embedded TikToks, sorry.)
- Influencer Lize Dzjabrailova, also known as The Wizard Liz, is splitting from her fiancé, Landon Nickerson, after she caught him cheating on her with one of her followers. She is four months pregnant with his baby. Liz makes content about dating and romance that encourages women to have high standards and not to settle for shitty men, so the internet has been wilding on her behalf.
- Emilie Kiser has filed a lawsuit to prevent the release of documents regarding the drowning death of her 3-year-old son. More than 100 requests for the public records, including the medical examiner’s report, have been filed in Maricopa County.

- Australian beefcake BookTok-er Luke Bateman got a two-book deal with Simon and Schuster, despite not being a writer. His fanbase quickly turned on him, and now it is a big controversy on BookTok.

- Sydney Nicole Gifford dropped her lawsuit against fellow influencer Alyssa Sheil. Gifford claimed that Shiel deliberately copied her aesthetic, photos, and social media posts. It became known as the “Sad Beige Lawsuit” because both of them are basic white women who wear a lot of beige.
- In other news, everyone is still doing the “propaganda I’m not falling for” trend, the “Anxiety” song is starting to lose its chokehold, and people are still hunting for those viral beaded bags.
