Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi shares her thoughts on Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio and girlfriend Nikki Hall’s relationship during an exclusive interview with Life & Style.
“I feel like when Nikki’s around, Pauly’s more himself,” Nicole, 37, exclusively tells Life & Style ahead of the season 8 premiere of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. “And he just seems happy. Like genuinely happy.”
However, Nicole notes that it’s the same for all of her costars and their partners. “We miss our significant others when we’re not with them,” she continues, adding that they all “feel cozy” when filming with their partners.
“We love Nikki,” Nicole concludes. “Nikki’s great.”
Pauly, 44, and Nikki, 33, first met on the MTV dating show Double Shot at Love. After they developed feelings for each other on the series, they took a major step in their relationship by moving in together in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nikki quickly became a Jersey Shore: Family Vacation fan-favorite amid all of her appearances, though she briefly stepped away from the show in 2022 following a fight with costar Angelina Pivarnick. She later returned to the show in the second half of season 7, and she will make even more appearances in the upcoming season.
In fact, the cast even traveled to her native Jamaica for one of their group vacations in season 8. Jenni “JWoww” Farley exclusively tells Life & Style that Jamaica was “beautiful” and a “once in a lifetime” experience.
“I guess I was scared to go outta country ’cause like I don’t bring my kids,” Nicole admits about the getaway. “I [didn’t] bring, you know, my husband or anything. So I’m always like a doomsday prepper. Like, what if something happened and I’m stuck in Jamaica, how am I getting back? So I was freaking out about that.”
Despite being nervous that something bad would happen, Jenni, 40, and Nicole insist that the trip to Jamaica was great. “We got there and I was like, ‘This is beautiful,’” Nicole says.

However, both Nicole and Jenni admit that the climate was warmer than they’re used to. “I’m a cold girl, so I was dying with the heat,” Nicole says. “Nut other than that, I thought it was beautiful. It is hot.”
“It was beautiful,” Jenni reiterates. “Beautiful but hot.”
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino also weighed in on Pauly D and Nikki’s romance following the trip during an exclusive interview with Life & Style.
“It’s great to see that dynamic. It’s new, it’s fresh, it’s fun. And it’s also great to see that side of Pauly, you know, in such a … in a very healthy, committed relationship,” Mike said, adding that Nikki is “very, very close” with his wife, Lauren Sorrentino.
The father of three continued, “It’s great that my wife has, like, another bestie on the show, as well … It just adds this new fun dynamic to the show that I’m sure the fans are eager to see.”
