Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino tease what fans can expect to see on season 8 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation during an exclusive interview with Life & Style.
“I think this season’s the most emotional between [Nicole’s] birth mom,” Jenni, 40, tells Life & Style, referring to Nicole’s journey to find her birth parents after she was adopted. “[Samantha “Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola’s] pregnancy after all the failed, you know, surgeries.”
“Nikki [Hall] going back to her homeland,” Jenni continues the list, referring to Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio’s girlfriend joining the cast on their group trip to her native Jamaica. “Like, there’s just so many things. Less drama, but more emotion that I feel like a lot of people will relate to.”
After Nicole, 37, agrees that season 8 is the show’s most emotional yet, she says, “I’m glad I got to open up and, like, experience what I experienced. And yeah. I feel like once I watch it, I’m gonna, like, cry as well. We’re gonna cry again.”
“We’re gonna cry together. We’re gonna cry again,” Jenni responds while referring to Nicole’s storyline about finding her birth parents. “FaceTime during it.”
Another storyline that will be featured on season 8 is Jenni making her directorial debut with the horror film Devon, which Nicole says they will watch together.
“I heard Angelina [Pivarnick’s] a pop star this season,” Jenni adds about their costar’s aspirations to pursue a singing career. While both Nicole and Jenni admit they weren’t aware of Angelina’s hopes to pursue a singing career while filming the season, Nicole claims Angelina said she “she had laryngitis” while filming.
Nicole jokingly continues about Angelina’s singing, “I can’t wait. She’s the next Britney Spears.”
Meanwhile, Mike, 42, also reveals what he’s excited for fans to see in upcoming episodes while exclusively speaking to Life & Style in a separate interview. “We don’t actually get to see the episode technically, so we would be watching the episode with the fans and viewers for the first time, which I’m very excited for,” he says. “I actually know, you know, what we have filmed. I’m actually just excited to see the show, how it’s cut up.”
‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ Cast
“I definitely want to see us celebrating our 15th anniversary in Seaside, how sentimental that is,” Mike says about the show’s 15th anniversary. “We put our hands in cement in front of the shore house, so we are immortalized forever, which is like our walk of fame, so that’s pretty cool.”
Mike adds that he’s “excited” to see the “whole season because I really do think that my cast members are the best in the business or else we wouldn’t be around this long.”
“We’ve turned 15 minutes of fame into 15 years,” Mike says of the show’s longtime success. “We are the Avengers of reality TV. Get ready for another amazing season.”
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 8 premieres on MTV Thursday, May 29, at 8 pm ET with new episodes premiering each Thursday.
