Indie R&B artist JMSN has dropped the first single from his upcoming album.
While his back catalog is predominantly r&b adjacent, he has dabbled in grungy rock tunes from time to time (most notably on his last album “Soft Spot”).
If you don’t like ants and insects, you might not want to watch!
I wasn’t aware of him until he had a viral moment with his “Soft Spot” song and video last year. I checked that whole album, and it’s sooo good! Despite being full of different genres and styles of music, all 9 tracks mix well together and it sounds like a cohesive album.
Went down the rabbit hole of older material, too. His older work is a lot of r&b material. The video for this post is definitely not the best example of him as an artist, if you never heard his music before.
