Alexa Ray Joel is reacting to her dad Billy Joel‘s brain disorder diagnosis.
Last week, the 76-year-old “Uptown Girl” singer announced that he is cancelling all of his scheduled tour dates after he was recently diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH).
Days after Billy shared his diagnosis, his 39-year-old daughter, whom he shares with ex-wife Christie Brinkley, released a heartfelt tribute to her dad.

She continued, “My Dad is the strongest and most resilient man I’ve ever known… and he’s entirely committed to making a full recovery with ongoing physical-therapy treatments as he continues to regain his strength. Christie, 71, also wrote a sweet tribute to Billy.
