In a since deleted post, Gay Times posted a quote from Dylan O’Brien last year while he was promoting his movie Ponyboi at Sundance, where he said he was “so grateful” for his trans non-binary sibling and how they deepen his experience in this world. Everyone was thrilled to hear that, until Dylan’s sibling Julz chimed in with a comment highlighting that the article and post uses their photo and talks about them without reaching out to them at all first. Then in a follow up comment, they said “He also hasn’t spoken to me in a year. He didn’t check in when I had top surgery. He didn’t even wish me a happy bday last week! But glad I could deepen his experience in this world and make the world love him that much more 😏”.
