Walton Goggins abruptly ended an interview after he was asked about his alleged feud with The White Lotus costar Aimee Lou Wood.

During an interview with the London Times published on Thursday, May 1, writer Ed Potton brought up the rumored feud by pointing out that Walton, 53, and Aimee, 31, no longer follow each other on Instagram.

“I’m not gonna have that conversation,” Walton said in response.

Meanwhile, Walton’s American publicist chimed in, “We’re not going there, thank you,” and his British rep said that they should move on to the “next question.”

While the journalist moved on to focus on Walton’s movie The Uninvited, he brought up Aimee again when he asked about reports that the two of them will make a public appearance together soon.

“Shall we talk about The Uninvited a bit more?” the British publicist said.

Walton then seemingly accused the journalist of not being interested in his new film, which was released in the United States on April 11. “Thinly veiled, my friend. The thing you’re least interested in,” he said.

“There is no conversation to be had about that. Sharing politics on social media — it’s in a vacuum,” Walton added.

Despite Walton’s clear disinterest in discussing the topic, Ed continued to push the envelope by asking about his rumored feud with Aimee one more time. “What the f–k, Ed! Come on, buddy. Wow,” Walton replied.

Ed claimed that Walton’s American rep immediately cut the interview short following his last attempt to bring up the feud.

Walton and Aimee played couple Rick and Chelsea on season 3 of The White Lotus, and they appeared to be close friends and frequently interacted with each other on social media. However, they sparked feud rumors when fans noticed that they were no longer following each other on Instagram after the finale aired on April 6.

Meanwhile, others have speculated that he may have blocked her because her previous comments disappeared from his posts.

Following their characters’ deaths during the season finale, both Aimee and Walton posted photos of each other from the show on social media. The posts led many fans to wonder where they stand now, and several people took to social media to inquire about their status.

“Aimee and Walton both be posting pics together and they don’t even follow each other what’s happening?” one person wrote under a photo Aimee posted with Walton, while another asked “Why did you guys unfollow each other? ‘I’m too sad for this.”

The concerned comments continued when a third person asked, “Why aren’t you and Walton tagging or following each other?”

The rumors continued when Aimee called out Saturday Night Live for making fun of her teeth during their “White Potus” sketch during the April 12 episode. “I did find the SNL thing mean and unfunny,” she said at the time.

While the Sex Education alum was open about how hurtful the sketch was, Walton didn’t seem bothered by the way they portrayed Aimee. In fact, he reshared the sketch on Instagram and said it was “smashing.”
