Justin is a former tennis player who retired in 2007. His professional career began in 1996, and he won 15 doubles championships, including the 1998 Australian Open and the 1998 French Open with his tennis partner, Venus Williams.

However, he left the board in 2019 after he was convicted of assault following a November 2018 altercation with venture capitalist Randall Kaplan. “I was admiring her, well before she gave me a shot,” Justin told People of meeting Amanda at a Formula 1 race in Las Vegas. “We had some mutual friends, and I noticed that she likes playing tennis, and we played a little tennis just as friends. And then we’re both involved in other relationships, and then the timing worked out. And I will say, I persisted.”
Justin added that they didn’t go on their first date until nearly a year and a half later.
The athlete also gushed about Amanda, who was married to actor Nick Cordero until his death in July 2020 due to COVID-19-related complications. The pair shared a son named Elvis.
