Travis Kelce has seemingly unfollowed Ryan Reynolds on Instagram amid Taylor Swift’s rumored drama with Blake Lively.
An eagle-eyed fan noticed that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, no longer followed the Deadpool actor, 48, on the social media platform on Sunday, April 27. Although Ryan lost one follower, he still follows Travis on Instagram as of publication.
According to a Reddit thread filled with apparent screenshots of Travis’ following list, the Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? host once followed Ryan. Life & Style cannot confirm the allegations.
It’s unclear why the NFL star removed Ryan from his following list, but fans are speculating it has something to do with Taylor’s rumored drama with Blake, 37.
Neither Travis nor Ryan, who used to go on double dates with Taylor, 35, and Blake, has not publicly addressed the quiet online feud.
In January, the Grammy-winning musician was dragged into Blake’s legal battle with former It Ends With Us costar Justin Baldoni. In January, Justin filed a $400 million lawsuit against Blake, Ryan and their publicist agent. The filing came one month after the A Simple Favor actress sued him for alleged sexual harassment and inciting an alleged smear campaign to ruin her reputation. Taylor was included in Justin’s filing when he shared alleged screenshots between him and Blake, who referred to the “Bad Blood” singer as one of her “dragons,” while speaking in reference to the HBO series Game of Thrones.
“If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons,” Blake’s alleged text to Justin read during production for It Ends With Us. “For better or worse, but usually for better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So, really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you.”
In addition, Justin also claimed that Taylor and Ryan nudged him to “take a pass” at Blake’s rewrite for a vital scene in the film, which is an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s book of the same name.
Taylor, whose song “My Tears Ricochet” plays in the film, has remained tight-lipped about being mentioned in Blake and Justin’s legal drama. Neither Blake nor Taylor has publicly addressed the status of their friendship.
In February, fans were shocked to see Blake missing from Taylor’s private suite at the Super Bowl despite her presence the year prior. Ice Spice, who was also at the 2024 showdown, was by Taylor’s side at the game alongside the Haim sisters, Este Haim, Danielle Haim and Alana Haim and stylist Ashley Avignone.
“The fact that Blake Lively wasn’t there raised a lot of red flags,” a source told In Touch at the time. “All the talk has put their friendship in question. People think Taylor has kicked Blake out of her famous squad.”
That said, the insider told the outlet that the A-listers’ friendship was too deep to throw away.
“Taylor is close with Blake and her family and is even godmother to Blake’s kids,” the source continued of Blake and Ryan’s children, James Reynolds, 10, Inez Reynolds, 8, Betty Reynolds, 5, and Olin Reynolds, 2. “Justin’s lawsuit may be a nightmare, but they would never let something like this destroy them.”
