Prince William is mourning.
The 42-year-old Prince of Wales was seen arriving at the funeral of Pope Francis in St. Peter’s Square on Saturday (April 26) in Vatican City, Vatican.
Pope Francis sadly passed away at the age of 88 on April 21. Find out the cause. He will be buried outside of the Vatican in a simple wooden coffin at the Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore.

The royal was accompanied by several world leaders at the funeral service, including Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Sir Keir Starmer.
Prince William came to represent his father King Charles III, and stood side by side with the prime minister for a moment of silence in front of Pope Francis‘ coffin, per BBC.
Ahead of the service, Sir Keir spoke to President Donald Trump, Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky and French President Emmanuel Macron.
Prince William “briefly spoke” to Trump and First Lady Melania Trump on his way into the service, Kensington Palace said, as well as Macron and his wife Brigitte.
The prince was seated in the third row next to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, with Jordan’s King Abdullah and Queen Rania sitting in the row in front of him.
The Vatican estimates that 250,000 people are attending the Pope’s funeral.
