Another Hollywood couple bites the dust! After two years of dating, Rami Malek and Emma Corrin have called it quits.
“There was no major drama or falling out,” an insider exclusively reveals to Life & Style. “They didn’t grow apart. Their situation just changed.”
What was once a romantic relationship is now a platonic one.
The Bohemian Rhapsody actor, 43, and the Nosferatu star, 29, “are very private about their personal lives and don’t want to make their split this big thing,” says the source. “The love is still there. It’s just shifted, which is why people believe Rami and Emma when they say they’ll remain friends.”
A separate insider adds that while they “gave it their best shot,” Emma and Rami ultimately “decided to go their separate ways.”

Their situation just changed,” the source continues. “They’re very private about their personal lives and not trying to make their split this big thing. Rami and Emma get each other, the love is still there, it’s just shifted, which is why we believe them when they say they’ll remain friends.”
Emma and Rami were first linked when they were spotted at a Bruce Springsteen concert in London in July 2023. The two looked to be enjoying themselves as they shared secrets with one another in the crowd, and Rami placed his hand on Emma’s knee. The following month, the two were seen having dinner together at the Buoy and Oyster restaurant in Margate, Kent. A source told People at the time that Rami and Emma were “affectionate” and that he “has fun” with her.
From there, the No Time to Die star and Emma were seen out and about at a few different events, including the U.S. Open as they watched the men’s singles semi-final match between Daniil Medvedev and Carlos Alcaraz. In September 2023, the Murder at the End of the World star and Rami were photographed locking lips while walking a dog at a park in London, followed by a Miu Miu dinner party during Paris Fashion Week in October 2023.
The following year in July 2024, Emma (who uses they/them pronouns) and Rami took a romantic vacation and were seen holding hands as they walked along a beach in Rio de Janeiro. A few days later Rami joined Emma at the afterparty for the premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine.
Even though they rarely spoke about their relationship to the public, the former couple didn’t have any qualms about showcasing their love for one another. When they attended the Venice Film Festival in August 2024, Rami was seen with his arms playfully slung around Emma’s shoulders at the event.
While Rami and Emma kept their relationship out of the spotlight for the most part, the Mr. Robot alum fondly referred to Emma as “Em,” or “my partner” or “that person” in an interview with The Guardian published in January.
“That person is fascinating,” Rami told the publication.
When the interviewer described Emma as “quirky,” he replied, “We like quirky.”
However, on April 13, People confirmed that the two had officially split.
