Timothée Chalamet‘s mom broke her silence about his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, for the first time and she had nothing but glowing words for the cosmetics mogul.
“I have to say she’s lovely,” Nicole Flender told Curbed about Kylie, 27, in a profile published on Monday, April 21, about the real estate agent, 67.
“She’s very nice to me,” Nicole added about the California native.
The former dance teacher accompanied Timothée, 29, to several events during the 2025 awards season, when he was nominated for Best Actor for his role in A Complete Unknown. The star brought his mom in place of Kylie to the SAG Awards, and both ladies were there to support the Call Me by Your Name star at the Oscars.
Kylie also attended the 2025 Golden Globes and BAFTAs as Timothée’s date, making their relationship the most high profile it has been since the pair quietly began dating in the spring of 2023.
The reality star has kept her romance with the Dune star close to the vest, telling Vogue in August 2024, “Privacy is so important to me in life.”
The couple has yet to go Instagram official but aren’t shy about showing off plenty of PDA at their awards show appearances. They also put on a loved-up display while attending the BNP Paribas Indian Wells Open on March 9.
Kylie and Timothée proved how strong their love is when they attended the first weekend of the Coachella Music Festival on April 12. The duo was photographed holding hands, as well as dancing in the audience during Charli XCX‘s set.
Life & Style exclusively reported on March 31 that the couple is heading toward an engagement.
“Nobody predicted when Timmy started dating Kylie that it would become this intense, serious, pre-marital relationship, but that’s exactly what has happened and both of them do say they want to spend the rest of their lives together,” the insider revealed.
“They’re not hedging that kind of talk or beating around the bush about it — it’s right out there in the open among their personal circle that an engagement is going to happen, sooner rather than later,” the source added.
Another insider exclusively told Life & Style that Kylie’s mom, Kris Jenner, is all for her youngest daughter marrying the Hollywood star but wants to make sure her massive fortune is protected.
“Her mom is salivating and all for it, with one huge stipulation, she needs to protect her bank account,” the source explained on April 15. “Timothée is obviously very rich by most people’s standards, but his net worth is a fraction of hers and Kris is very clear that has to be taken into consideration with an iron clad prenup.”
Timothée has a reported net worth of $25 million as of 2025, according to Celebrity Net Worth. However, Kylie has an estimated $710 million fortune, thanks to her massively successful cosmetics brand and other entrepreneurial ventures, according to Forbes.
The Sprinter drink founder is known to enjoy spending her millions, especially on lavish getaways with her pals. Kylie also has a penchant for real estate, owning multiple expensive properties.
“She’s by far the most generous out of all the girls, sometimes to the point of being reckless, at least as far as her mom’s concerned,” the insider said of Kris, 69, worrying about her daughter’s spending habits.
“Kris worries she might do something crazy and run off and marry him before they can get this agreement signed,” the source added. “That’s why there’s a big rush to get it drawn up.”
