Rudy Pankow has lined up his next film role!
The 26-year-old booked his first post-Outer Banks role in the upcoming movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover‘s “Reminders of Him,” Deadline has revealed.
Rudy will star alongside Maika Monroe, who was announced a few weeks ago, and Tyriq Withers.

The script comes from Collen and Lauren Levine, who are also producing through their Heartbones Entertainment production company.
Reminders of Him “centers on motherhood, forgiveness and the power of one love to heal even the most shattered heart.”
Colleen has confirmed that Maika will be playing the main character Kenna, who returns to town after serving five years in prison, hoping to reunite with her four-year-old daughter, Diem, and Tyriq will play Ledger Ward, a local bar owner who is a father figure to Diem, and was her late father’s best friend.
While unconfirmed at the time of this post, it appears as though Rudy could be playing the role of Scott Landry, who was Kenna’s first love and is Diem’s late father, who died at 23 years old, after they were involved in a car accident. Kenna was driving and served her time in prison for involuntary manslaughter as a result.
Reminders of Him is set to be released in February through Universal Pictures, with Vanessa Caswill directing.
This isn’t the only Collen Hoover book-to-screen adaptation that is currently in the works – Verity just wrapped filming, and is out in May 2026, and Regretting You is coming out in October!
