Larsa began a romance with the son of NBA icon and Scottie’s former Bulls teammate Michael Jordan in September 2022.
“Marcus and Larsa are dating and have been spending more time together in recent weeks. They are trying to keep it on the down low because of the rift between Scottie and Michael,” a source told Us Weekly at the time.
While the pair was photographed out and about holding hands and looking very much like a couple over the following months, Larsa made Marcus Instagram official on January 23, 2023, as they posed in front of a Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls jersey made of flowers while visiting Orlando, Florida’s Trophy Room store.
On the first episode of their “Separation Anxiety with Larsa and Marcus” podcast in June 2023, the pair discussed how their families reacted to the news of their romance.
“I don’t think there was ever any hurdles, I just think there was some shock value to the fact that we were dating. Caught maybe some people on my side of the family off guard a little bit,” Marcus confessed, as Larsa added, “It caught me off guard! I get it. I understand.”
The reality star’s family was accepting, as she revealed, “I think once people really got to understand and see us together, it made everything a little more comfortable. My parents want to see me happy. Your family wants to see you happy. That’s all you could ever ask for.”
It turns out, Marcus’ dad was not happy with his son’s relationship with his former teammate’s wife, who is 16 years his senior. When asked by a TMZ cameraman as he left a restaurant in Paris on July 2 if he approved of their romance, Michael laughed and responded with a hearty, “No!”
After appearing on The Traitors season 2 together in January 2024, Larsa and Marcus split the following month. They briefly reconciled for Valentine’s Day, though Larsa and Marcus called it quits for good in March 2024.
