    Like, father like daughter! Jadyn Olesen, who goes by the stage name Jadyn Cree, made her debut on The Voice during season 25 when her dad, Bryan Olesen, competed and became one of the final three vocalists. Two seasons later, Jadyn returned to the stage for her own blind audition, which blew the audience and coaches out of the water.

    Jadyn Cree Is a Lead Singer of a Band

    After growing up around music, it was natural for Jadyn to chase her dream as an artist. Jadyn is the lead singer of the band AM/FM and performs ‘80s cover songs alongside her all-male bandmates, whose ages range between 50 and 60 years old.

    “I guess I’m kind of like … in a band now?” Jadyn captioned an April 2022 Instagram post alongside her band’s group photos.

    Jadyn championed her dad from backstage when Bryan sang John Legend’s “All of Me” in front of judges John, Reba McEntire, Dan + Shay and Chance the Rapper during season 25. After blowing away the coaches in a three-chair-turn performance, Jadyn was asked on stage to harmonize “Put Your Records On” with her father.

    Bryan joined Team Legend and finished the competition in third place.

    Once it was time for Jadyn to rock the stage and showcase her vocals, her dad was the first to support her. In January 2025, the family patriarch shared a sweet throwback photo of himself giving a young Jadyn a kiss on the cheek with a heartwarming message about her accomplishment and landing a spot on the show.

    “Just when I thought this crazy wonderful ride on The Voice couldn’t get any better!!! I can’t even begin to describe how this makes me feel. I’m so proud of my girl for just leaning in and embracing this opportunity,” Bryan wrote via Instagram at the time. “Jadyn, I know you’re incredibly talented and you’re going to do amazing. but what gives me the most joy and pride is how beautiful you are inside and out. And now the world will get to see who you are. I love you sweetheart! Enjoy the ride!!”

    Jadyn’s season 27 blind audition was featured during the premiere on February 3, 2025. She sang a cover of “Still Into You” by Paramore, leading coaches Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé to turn their chairs.

    In the end, Jadyn chose to join Team Bublé and blazed her way through the battle and knockout rounds. She wowed her coach during her performance of Avril Lavigne’s “Keep Holding On” on April 14, 2024.

    “Out of both seasons that I’ve been here, I think she may have more star quality than anyone I’ve seen before,” the “Feeling Good” singer said in astonishment of her talent. “I think she’s going to win this thing.”
