Wood and Goggins no longer seem to follow each other on Instagram, despite Goggins recently posting a photo dump of almost entirely himself and Wood on set. https://t.co/lUXRE0RzwD

Fans of The White Lotus are wondering if there was drama between Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood due to their social media activity. Apparently they unfollowed each other on Instagram weeks ago with Goggins potentially even blocking her as fans claim that her comments on his Instagram posts are now gone.
Which would be strange considering Goggins did post effusively about the show’s finale and thanked Wood for “being my partner… a journey I will never forget“.
Prior to the season, Wood commented to Vanity Fair that she’d made “Really, really amazing friends. Walton, because we had all of our scenes together, we were very close.” For his part, back in March Goggins said to the Telegraph, “[Wood would be] a very special person in my life […] On some levels, a soulmate.“
Wood also commented to THR about being sad that Goggins skipped out on watching the finale viewing party with the rest of the cast. “I was sad that Walton wasn’t there because it was something that we did together, but also it’s so fucking Rick and Chelsea. Like, of course Walton had to watch it alone and of course I had to watch it in the group because there is so much Aimee in Chelsea and so much Walton in Rick.”
Fans also latched onto the fact that Goggins would post selfies of himself with Wood on his IG Stories set to the song “Silver Springs” by Fleetwood Mac which he then allegedly changed to John Lennon’s “Love”.
walton goggins posted an 18 slide instagram story of photos of him and aimee lou wood set to silver springs by fleetwood mac then they unfollowed each other. [hand under chin, preparing for tea] Well!

What adds fuel to some fans’ speculative fire were comments from fellow co-star Jason Isaacs about cliques and tension behind the scenes. A lot of wishful projection. In one interview with Vulture, Isaacs said, “Some people got very close, there were friendships that were made and friendships that were lost.
“All the things you would imagine with a group of people unanchored from their home lives on the other side of the world, in the intense pressure cooker of the working environment with eye-melting heat and insects and late nights.”
In another recent SiriusXM interview though, Jason Isaacs tried to clarify and walk back his previous comments. “People need to remember it was the actors and the crew and the administrators and all these people were in a little pressure cooker together. And like anywhere you go for the summer, there’s friendships, there’s romances, there’s arguments, there’s cliques that form and break and reform and stuff like that. I’m not stupid. I look at the internet. I only read every single word written about The White Lotus and about everybody in it.
“All these amateur Sherlock Holmes out there, they’re extrapolating, ‘Well, one person posted this.’ And nobody has the slightest clue what they’re talking about. People who think they’re onto something, and then it gets magnified because of a thousand other people. Nobody has any clue what I’m talking about. I’m talking about people you’ve never met before half the time, in different departments and the people in the hair and costume and in the accounts department and stuff.
“First of all, it’s none of your business. I’m just saying it wasn’t a holiday. Partly I started saying that is because people think we were on a seven-month holiday and believe me, it felt like work a lot of the time. It was insanely hot and there’s all the normal social tensions you get anywhere, but for all of you thinking you’ve cracked it by something you think someone has posted or is in a photo or not, you’re just so far from the truth, believe me.”
And now recently, Goggins initially praised SNL’s White Potus sketch (aka the one Aimee Lee Wood called “mean and unfunny” for mocking her appearance). In a now-deleted IG story, he uploaded the skit and wrote “SMASHING”. He also commented on SNL’s instagram with, “Hahahahahhahaha Amazzzingggg.”
