Sean Kinston was held in prison after failing to pay bond.
The 35-year-old rapper was recently held in federal prison for several days after he didn’t pay his $100,000 bond, according to court records obtained by NBC News.
He was ordered during a hearing on April 10, and held at the Federal Detention Center in Miami, Florida.
However, Sean‘s attorney Zeljka Bozanic told TMZ on Tuesday (April 15) that “Mr. Kingston’s bond has been posted and he is in the process of being released,” and that Sean is currently back in home detention with GPS monitoring.

Last month, Sean and his mother Janice Turner were found guilty of five counts of fraud, and Sean was placed on house arrest. Their sentencing will happen on July 11, and they are currently facing a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for each count.
Last year, the two were arrested and indicted for an alleged “scheme to defraud victim sellers of high-end specialty vehicles, jewelry, and other goods purchased by the defendants through the use of fraudulent documents,” according to the United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida.
