It was then asked how long the show could run.
Executive producer R. Scott Gemmill told TV Insider, “That’s up to you guys. It’s not up to me. I have a reputation of, once I get settled, I don’t go anywhere, so I’ll be here until they turn the lights out.” After all, as he pointed out, “the great thing about doing a show that’s set in the emergency department is every day, 100 new stories come in.”
Season 2 is expected to debut in January 2026. There appears to only be one cast exit right now.
