Aimee Lee Wood said SNL’s parody of her was “mean and unfunny”. Sarah Sherman played her White Lotus character with oversized teeth. “Yes, take the piss for sure — that’s what the show is about — but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?”
A few hours later Wood wrote that she had received apologies from SNL but did not specify who wrote to her.
