The results of President Donald Trump‘s first physical exam of his second term have been revealed.
On Friday (April 11), the 78-year-old President traveled to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC for his evaluation. Days later, White House physician Sean Barbarella released the results of Trump‘s exam, including what medications he’s taking, how much he weighs, and more.
Keep reading to find out more…For cholesterol control, Trump is taking two medications, Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe, according to the health memo obtained by People. He’s also taking Aspirin for cardiac prevention and he uses Mometasone cream as needed for a skin condition.
Trump, who stands 6-foot-3, currently weighs 224lbs, 20-pounds less than his last physical exam as president in 2020 when he weighed 244lbs, per the Associated Press.
According to the memo, Trump had a colonoscopy in July 2024, that found a benign polyp and diverticulosis, which “is inflammation of irregular bulging pouches in the wall of the large intestine,” according to Mayo Clinic.
Trump has also had cataract surgery in both eyes, though specific dates were not included.
As for his vaccinations, the memo stated, “All recommended vaccinations are current, including travel-related immunizations.”
Elsewhere in the memo, Barbarella said that Trump is “fully fit” to serve, as he praised the president’s “active lifestyle” for helping “to contribute significantly” to his overall health.
“President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function,” the physician added, highlighting that Trump‘s “days include participation in multiple meetings, public appearances, press availability, and frequent victories in golf events.”
Earlier in the week, Trump issued an update to his tariff policy that saw the stock market in shambles the past few days.
