Jason Isaacs is opening up about one of the many talked about moments from the third season of The White Lotus.
In this exclusive clip from an upcoming appearance on the iHeart podcast, I’ve Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario, the 61-year-old actor dished on the breakfast scene where his character’s wife Victoria (Parker Posey) gets recognized by Kate (Leslie Bibb), but blows her off as if she had no idea what she was talking about.
Many viewers were left puzzled as to why Victoria played it off like she didn’t know who Kate was, and Jason is explaining how that moment was being played out.

“She has a perfectly idea, she doesn’t want to be on holiday talking to strangers,” Jason dished on the podcast, which will be available to listen in full on Friday (April 11).
“The thing about them is, the Ratliffs, there was a lovely line that was cut, which bothered me – we all had many, many lines cut because Mike [White] writes so much fabulous stuff, there’s a half an hour cut from every episode,” Jason shared. “But when we landed at the beginning, they said, you know, ‘How was your journey?’ and I said, you know, ‘We had a long layover,’ and I think I said something like, I remember incorrectly, you know, ‘Flew commercial, save the planet,’ because they don’t normally fly commercial, they fly private and they go to mansions with staff.”
“So, he’s kind of slumming it, Tim, staying at The White Lotus at all. They’re not used to other people being in their business, and so the fact that somebody from another table comes and gets in Victoria’s face, she just doesn’t want to be chatting to people by the pool, she doesn’t want other people to be around,” he continued. “So, that’s all it was, just shutting the conversation down. ‘I don’t want to these people, these trashy people being in my life. I don’t really want other people to talk to me.’”
