Summer House star Paige DeSorbo had an iconic response after costar Jesse Solomon joked that they were dating.
After Jesse, 31, Paige, 32, and some of their costars visited West Wilson at the Complex office, he took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 8, to share a group photo. The second slide in the post zoomed in on Jesse and Paige, revealing that they were holding hands in the photo.
“Thanks for having us West. Also, Paige and I are ready to take our relationship public,” Jesse jokingly captioned the post. “Love you my sweet petunia.”
After Jesse – who is known for sharing flirtatious messages with his female friends on social media – shared the post, Paige made it clear he was joking by writing, “This is how rumors start.”
Meanwhile, several of their Summer House costars also weighed in on the caption. “Dear god MESSY JESSE!” Lindsay Hubbard wrote, while West, 29, commented, “HR violation.”
Kyle Cooke – who also appeared in the group photo – added, “Messy Jesse strikes again.”
Jesse joked that he and Paige were a romantic item following her split from ex Craig Conover after three years of dating.
“Craig and I have decided to no longer be together. I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing,” Paige said during a December 2024 episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast. “I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
Fans are currently watching the final months of their relationship play out on Summer House. After a season 9 episode showed Craig, 36, expressing his concerns that Paige put her career above their relationship, she opened up about the conflict during the Summer House After Show After Show on March 13.
After Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula insisted that Paige was always supportive of Craig’s career accomplishments, the podcast host reflected on how she believed her ex made her “Giggly Squad” tour about himself.
“I think obviously when you’re in it, you can’t see it the way you see it when you’re out of it or the way your friends see it. And I think I loved him so much that I tolerated it too much,” she said. “And now that I’m out of it and I look back on things, I’m like, ‘Oh, wait. Anytime I had, like, a career milestone, he found a way to, like, make it about him.’”
In fact, Paige said that Craig had a habit of making everything about him during their relationship. “Anytime there was something and it was like for me … It was my friend’s wedding or a family wedding, he would find a way to, like, make it about him and make me have a bad time,” she claimed. “It was just embarrassing.”
“So that’s something that I look back on now and I’m like, ‘Oh wow, I really was very blinded.’ I had to, like, do a lot of damage control while I was the one performing and, like, about to go out on stage, so like when I started having panic attacks this fall while I was doing ‘Giggly Squad,’ he just thought it was because I worked too much,” the Bravo star continued.
