Well, NBC hasn’t officially said, but fans believe it’s just a regularly scheduled hiatus for the series. This two week hiatus was likely scheduled in advance by NBC so that they could stretch their run until their season finale later this spring.
So far, NBC has renewed 5 TV shows this year, but 4 were canceled in the last few months.
