During a Deadline panel for The Pitt today, showrunner R. Scott Gemmill, executive producer John Wells, and star/executive producer Noah Wyle shared new details about season 2.
The next season will be a shift over the 4th of July weekend. Season 1 takes place in early September, so there will be a 10-month time jump between seasons.
Last week, Casey Bloys (chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Content) confirmed to Vulture that they are planning to premiere season 2 in January 2026. This means there will only be a year between each season’s release.
ontd, are you ready for the finale this week?
