Barack Obama is revealing new details about his longtime wife, Michelle.
The former president said that his two presidential terms from 2008-2016 affected his relationship with the former first lady.
“I was in a deep deficit with my wife,” Barack told Steven Tepper, President of Hamilton College, on Thursday (April 1), according to The Daily Beast.

However, he is currently finding a way to create balance in his relationship with Michelle, who he has been married to since 1992.
“I have been trying to dig myself out of that hole by doing occasionally fun things,” he added.
Earlier this year, rumors started swirling that Michelle and Barack‘s marriage was on the rocks after they did not attempt President Donald Trump‘s inauguration, and Michelle was not present for Jimmy Carter‘s memorial service.
