There are no dumb questions on Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast — not even ones about detachable body parts.
A fan asked the brothers which features they would take on and off their bodies during the “No Dumb Questions” segment of their “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday, April 2. After Travis, 35, pitched that he would make his ears and nose detachable, Jason, 37, went further down the body before discussing his “inconvenient apendange.”
“Alright, I’m just gonna throw it out there,” the retired Philadelphia Eagles player said. “If we’re being honest, it just usually gets in the way.”
Though Jason didn’t specify which body part he was referring to, Travis picked up on the fact that his older brother was referring to his manhood, especially when Jason called it an “inconvenient appendage” between his legs.
“It just gets in the way sometimes!” the former NFL star reiterated. “You know what I mean? Like, if you’re running, you gotta think that there’d be less friction without that thing between your legs trying to play sports, right?”
However, Travis didn’t agree.
“No,” he said with a laugh. “I don’t think about it. It doesn’t bother me at all.”
Doubling down on his idea, Jason continued, “If you can detach it, that means you could probably attach an upgraded one. You could go bigger, assuming it’s like a universal connection point. I could attach another one.”
Travis was cracking up with laughter as he responded, “You’re a f–king psychopath, man.”
While the body parts discussion was certainly unhinged, it was balanced out with a dose of sweetness elsewhere in the podcast episode when Travis got to meet Jason and wife Kylie Kelce’s newborn daughter, Finnley “Finn” Anne Kelce, who was born on Sunday, March 30.
“Yes, I want to see my new niece, Jason! You only sent one picture,” Travis told his brother when asked if he wanted to meet the little girl. “You didn’t even tell me what name you picked yet.”
Kylie, 33, then joined the call with baby Finn.
“Hey, little muffin! Look at you. You hanging out with Mom?” Travis said. “Tell Ky I said hello. I’m glad everything’s going great.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end asked if the newborn was still “nameless,” and Jason and Kylie revealed that they had picked out a name and completed the birth certificate at the hospital.
“Well, you can technically leave without it, but we wouldn’t remember to fill out the f–king paperwork, so, we had to do it,” Kylie joked.
“You’re impressive, Ky! You’re impressive,” Travis told his sister-in-law, who also shares daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, and Bennett, 2, with Jason.
“Thanks, Trav,” Kylie responded. “It wouldn’t have been possible without your brother, you know?”
After Kylie left the call, Jason gushed about welcoming their fourth child, saying that it was “awesome.” However, he admitted that babies don’t “do a lot for the first six months.”
“It really doesn’t get exciting until they start smiling and giving you something,” he said, adding that seeing his wife give birth was “one of the most crazy things that you can ever witness.”
