Still in the bridal spirit? Sydney Sweeney made a curious fashion statement by wearing an outfit from a bridal design house on her first red carpet since reportedly calling off her wedding and splitting with ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino.

Sydney, 27, donned a strapless white ensemble by Wiederhoeft while posing for photos and promoting her upcoming movie, The Housemaid, at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday, April 1.

The actress looked stunning in the “Julie” combo which went down the runway as part of Wiederhoeft’s spring/summer 2025 collection. Their website notes that the corset top is made of “silver double-faced silk satin,” while featuring “metal boned construction with lace-up corsetry.” The ankle-length skirt has a slit up the backside and a low-slung belt. Put together, the pieces look like a dress.

If fans want to copy Sydney’s look, the corset top sells for $4,500, while the skirt is priced at $2,300.

The Euphoria star was all business following multiple reports on Monday, March 31, that she and Jonathan, 41, split after nearly seven years together. The former couple began dating in 2018 and got engaged in 2022. Sydney reportedly called off their late spring wedding prior to the duo reportedly ending things for good.

“Sydney and Jonathan are officially split,” a source told Us Weekly. The insider added that actress was “telling friends she is single.”

People reported that the Immaculate star was “overwhelmed” by their “relationship and her wedding,” adding that “she didn’t feel right about it.”

“She’s exactly where she wants to be,” the insider shared. “Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She’s all about working right now and very excited about all her projects.”

The source added that Sydney is “in the middle of this magical career that she could only dream of a few years ago,” and she “wants to focus” on her career “right now.”

While Sydney went glam for the CinemaCon appearance, her The Housemaid costars Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar dressed slightly more casual as they took the stage to give theater owners a first look at the highly anticipated thriller, along with director Paul Feig.

Sydney plays Millie, a young woman hired by a wealthy couple as a live-in maid. The film is based on Freida McFadden‘s 2022 novel.

The Madam Web star gushed about her love of the film’s source material.

“I’m a big book lover, I love reading books. The Housemaid was everywhere — Amazon and all over TikTok. I read all three [books] in one week,” Sydney told the audience per Deadline, referring to the novel and its sequels, The Housemaid’s Secret and The Housemaid’s Wedding.

“I love when there’s so much unexpected twists and turns and the characters are flawed and you love them at the same time. You question your own morals,” the Spokane, Washington, native added. The film hits theaters on December 25.

Sydney’s appearance at CinemaCon came after a weekend trip to Dallas, Texas, where she reunited with her Anyone But You costar Glen Powell for his sister Leslie Powell‘s wedding.

Leslie shared a photo posing with Sydney at the reception, as the White Lotus alum looked gorgeous in a plunging pale blue dress with a corset bodice. Glen was seen in a photo of the wedding party, looking dapper in a navy blue suit.

Several fans told DeuxMoi that they spotted Sydney and Glen, 36, out at several hotspots around Dallas. However, TMZ reported on March 31 that the actress is “very good friends with the Powell family” and has been “very close” with Leslie “for a long time. The outlet also reported that Glen and Sydney did not attend the wedding’s rehearsal dinner as each other’s dates.
