    ‘The Last of Us’ Co-Creator Craig Mazin Reveals How Many Seasons the Show Will Likely Have

    The Last of Us show creators say they know when the series will likely come to an end.

    The first season of the hit Max series aired in 2023, and is based off of a videogame of the same name.

    When asked if the show will create its own storylines if they get through the existing storylines from the videogames, co-creator Craig Mazin shut down the idea.

    “No, Neil [Druckmann] and I really are focused on telling the story that’s there, and it will come to an end, whether it is in season 3 or season 4,” he told People in a new interview.

    “I’m not sure how I can top this. So if there’s more or less of this to happen, other people will carry it forward. And I’ll go make tiny, tiny little things. Two people talking in a room, in a warm room,” he added.

    The season 2 premiere of The Last of Us airs on Sunday, April 13 on Max.
