Hilaria Baldwin was not in the mood for husband Alec Baldwin’s jokes. The former yoga instructor, 41, was chatting with Extra at the Planet Hollywood Times Square grand reopening on March 11 about how routines are key when raising seven kids, when the actor, 66, interrupted her to ask what the word for “essential” was in Spanish.
“Why?” Hilaria snapped at him. “Why are you distracting me?” He quickly apologized and joked, “I’m just captivated by your beauty.” But that didn’t help matters. “Oh my God, stop, you’re annoying me. Stop,” she fired back. “It’s not cute, no. He’s distracting me. I’m gonna, like, walk out of this interview.” The clip went viral. Eight days later, Hilaria posted a video addressing the incident on Instagram. “What ’s the word of the day?” she asks Alec. His response: “Manterrupting.”
“Now that we cleared all of that up,” she says, “give me a kiss.” Although the couple tried to play off their public display of aggravation, a source exclusively tells Life & Style that Hilaria gets annoyed when Alec tries to be silly and spoil her moment.
“She’s snapping at him in public and [while] Alec tries to make light of her behavior, anyone can see he’s embarrassed,” the source continued. Add to that the negative reception of their TLC show, The Baldwins, and well … “The pressure is getting to them both,” says the source. “Neither one seems happy at this point.”
