-Keith D. Robinson is joining the cast of CBS daytime soap Beyond the Gates as a series regular in a recasting taking over for Maurice Johnson.
-Maurice originated the role of Dr. Ted Richardson. Robinson will debut as Ted in May.
-No reason has been cited for why the show opted to recast. Fans are not happy about it though and Johnson has actively engaged the fandom since the show started airing a month ago.
