Austin Abrams is being eyed for a new project!
The 28-year-old Euphoria actor is reportedly a top choice to star in a remake of the horror-action film Resident Evil, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Barbarian director Zach Cregger wrote the script for the upcoming Resident Evil reboot, and is also set to direct the feature. Sony Pictures will produce the film, which will begin shooting in Europe this summer.

Based on a video game series of the same name, the first film in the Resident Evil franchise was released in 2002, and stars Milla Jovovich.
However, the reboot is apparently “on the horror track,” and has “elements of a wilderness survival thriller,” per THR.
