Shiloh Jolie was spotted heading to dance class in Los Angeles, and the teen looked like she might have been embracing the same aesthetic as her mom Angelina Jolie’s character in the 1995 film Hackers.
Shiloh, 18, paired some safety pin earrings with a casual dark gray hoodie and black pants that she wore with black sneakers. Her hair was pulled back from her face as she continues to grow out her previous buzz cut, and she had the hood of her sweatshirt pulled up on her head.
Shiloh has been working on her dance skills for several years now, and multiple clips of her showing off her moves have made the rounds on social media. She’s been seen dancing to Missy Elliott’s “Get Ur Freak On” and “Tanzania.” In one video, Shiloh put her own spin on the popular ATP dance trend.
“Shiloh is a typical 15-year-old and she’s expressing herself in so many ways,” an insider shared with In Touch in 2021. “Her main love right now is dance, and she’s really good at it. She loves that she can feel the music, let go and be free, which is super important. She likes all styles of dance but hip-hop and freestyle are her favorites.”
The source added that Shiloh had no problems remembering the dance moves “which Angie loves because she says that neither she nor Brad have that talent. Shiloh really can move. Angie and Brad [Pitt] are impressed, they couldn’t be prouder.”
Her father, Brad, 61, also gushed about his daughter’s dance skills.
“It brings a tear to the eye, yeah,” the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star told Entertainment Tonight in an interview published on August 2, 2022. “I don’t know where she got it from. I’m Mr. Two-Left-Feet here. I love when they find their own way, find things they are interested in and flourish.”
However, despite the fact that her dancing could lead to a career in the entertainment industry, Shiloh and the rest of her siblings much prefer staying out of the spotlight. In November 2024, Angelina, 49, opened up about why her children valued their privacy so much.
“They weren’t born with privacy,” the Mr. and Mrs. Smith actress said during an interview with Good Morning America. “So, I hope they can have that as they get older.”
Plus, a source previously told Life & Style that Shiloh was the “most private” of all of her siblings.
“Out of all of Angelina’s kids, Shiloh is the most private. She does not seek attention in any way, except when she’s dancing,” an insider revealed on February 4. “That’s the only time she’s willing to take center stage and even that is rare, because she usually prefers to be in the back of the group. She’s extremely talented and so devoted to her training, so naturally she’s starting to get offers from people looking to help her turn her passion into a big career.”
The source continued, “If she wanted, she could have a whole show built around her, but that is so not her style. Even joining a big-name artist as a backup dancer is not something she’s ready for at this point, although that may change in the future because she also really loves music and going to concerts.”
