The Michigan native has opened up about his career, and previously revealed that his comedy is “inspired so randomly.”
“I mostly get inspired by the premise. I like the feeling of entering a joke in a unique way, something that will pique the interest of the audience,” he told Funny Business Agency. “But seriously, it changes frequently. One week I’ll be adamant about fact checking for a history joke, the next I’m working on a DMX impression. It’s usually whatever makes me laugh at the time.”

Katie revealed she was in a relationship in May 2024 while appearing on the “Your Mom & Dad” podcast, and she later shared that she was seeing Jeff when she made their romance Instagram official in June of that year.

Jeff Arcuri Has Stood By Katie Thurston Amid Her Cancer Battle
Jeff and Katie’s strength was put to the test when she revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2025. While announcing the news, Katie thanked Jeff for supporting her during the difficult time.
“To my extraordinary husband-to-be @jarcuri. I don’t know how I’d do this without you,” she wrote via social media at the time. “The selfless love that you smother me in is beyond anything I imagined I’d be blessed with. I love you to the fullest in this lifetime and the next.”
Jeff continued to show his support for Katie when he canceled his tour dates to be by her side. He continued to show up for her when he appeared on a Mach 2025 episode of Good Morning America alongside Katie to discuss her cancer diagnosis.
“I texted them. I’m like, ‘There’s no way I can see you doing anything alone in this,’” he said of his decision to cancel the tour.
Meanwhile, Katie praised Jeff for making her laugh as she navigated the health scare. “I couldn’t have asked for someone better by my side,” she said.
The couple also opened up about their hopes to have children, explaining that Katie had started harvesting her eggs after her diagnosis. “We’ve done everything we can do to be, you know, proactive for our future and our family plans,” she said. “But in the event that IVF didn’t work out, in the event that chemo did impact me in a negative way when it comes to my reproductive health, we’re also OK being a childless couple.”
