For a limited time, Frontier Discount Den members can fly with a companion for nearly free, paying just the price of taxes and fees (starting at $18.90) with Frontier’s Friends Fly Free promotion.
This promo is exclusively for Discount Den members booking domestic round-trip travel on select routes and days through May 21. Discount Den is an annual membership that offers various benefits for members, including lower fares, deals and kids-fly-free perks on eligible flights. An annual membership costs $99.99 for your first year.
Passengers must be traveling on the same itinerary to get the buy one, get one companion discount. To redeem the discounted companion pass, travelers must book flights by 11:59 p.m. EDT on March 24 using the promo code “FLYFREE” at checkout. The companion pays the cost of associated taxes and fees, starting at $18.90 each way.
Eligible flights include nonstop continental domestic travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flights must be booked online and at least seven days in advance.
Participating routes include journeys to and from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), Orlando International Airport (MCO), Chicago’s Midway International Airport (MDW), Tampa International Airport (TPA), Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Miami International Airport (MIA), Denver International Airport (DEN) and Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Earlier this week, Frontier said it would also offer travelers a free checked bag plus complimentary access to its Economy Bundle for a limited time. This fare type includes one personal item and a carry-on, free seat assignments and no change fees. This offer only applies to new bookings made by 11:59 p.m. EDT on March 24 for travel from May 28 through Aug. 18. Travelers can stack this BOGO companion fare with the Economy Bundle promo.

The budget airline also recently unveiled plans for first-class seating later this year, with complimentary upgrades for Frontier Miles elite status members at the Elite Gold status level and higher. Starting later this year, Frontier Miles members with Elite Platinum or Elite Diamond status will receive complimentary companion passes as well, allowing them to bring a companion on any flight for free.
The airline is currently offering a way to fast-track Elite Platinum status for Frontier Miles members who earn 20,000 elite status points by April 30.
The companion pass promotion, the Economy Bundle fare type and this elite status match can all be stacked together.
