Hailey Bieber seemingly reacted to her critics while sharing a cryptic message about people getting the “wrong” impression of her.
“People take the information they’re fed and they draw a picture of who you are. Most of the time, it’s wrong,” a since-deleted text post shared via Hailey’s Instagram Story read on Monday, March 17.
While the post has since been deleted, a screenshot of the message has since circulated via X.
Hailey, 28, shared the post amid ongoing rumors regarding her and her husband, Justin Bieber. The couple – who tied the knot in 2018 – have been making headlines regarding Justin’s speculated health issues, which began when fans noticed he appeared more gaunt than usual and he seemed to be acting strange.
Concerns for Justin’s health continued when he was photographed smoking from a bong, and he was rumored to be abusing hard drugs. In light of the speculation, Justin’s rep told TMZ that the rumors were “absolutely not true” and noted that the allegations were “exhausting and pitiful.”
The rep continued that the speculation about the “Baby” singer’s mental health “shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”
Additionally, the rep added that Justin, 31, has had a “very transformative” year and that he “ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”
Amid the concern for his health, Justin himself shared a cryptic message via his Instagram account on March 13.
“People told me my whole life, ‘Wow Justin, u deserve that’ and I personally have always felt unworthy,” he wrote in a text post uploaded via his Instagram Story. “Like I was a fraud.”
He continued, “Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky, like, damn if they only knew my thoughts. How judgmental I am, how selfish I really am. They wouldn’t be saying this.”
The message concluded with the “That Should Be Me” singer reminding his followers that they are never alone, even when they are not feeling their best. “I say all this to say if you feel sneaky, welcome to the club,” he wrote. “I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days.”
While Justin’s rep insisted that there should be no concern for his health, an insider exclusively told Life & Style that his behavior has also taken “a toll” on Hailey after they welcomed their first child, son Jack, in August 2024.
“Justin says she’s the person he leans on most. That’s not an easy position to be in, especially while trying to balance new motherhood and her career,” the insider said in an interview published on March 12. “It’s hard for her to ask for help from Justin, so she ends up shouldering most of this on her own.”
The source said that Justin and Hailey love each other very much, and it’s believed that “divorce isn’t an option right now.”
“But Hailey and people close to her are hoping Justin can turn things around,” the insider added.
