    Colin Farrell Eyes DC Return, Is In Talks for ‘Sgt Rock’ After Daniel Craig Exit

    Colin Farrell could be returning to the DC comic world in a different role!

    The 48-year-old Golden Globe award-winning actor previously starred in the DCEU (DC Extended Universe) as Oz Cobb/The Penguin in The Batman and the HBO spinoff series The Penguin.

    THR reports that Colin is now in talks to star in Sgt Rock after Daniel Craig left the upcoming film project.

    Previously, DC heads James Gunn and Peter Safran said that the movie would only film this summer if they “find the perfect actor.”

    If Colin does indeed sign on, filming could take place in England this summer, and he would “play the tough-as-nails leader of Easy Company, the combat unit fighting Nazi forces in Europe.”

    Luca Guadagnino is slated to direct, with a script from Justin Kuritzkes, who penned Challengers and Queer.
