Jana Kramer and her husband Allan Russell are revealing the real date that they got married!
The 41-year-old actress and singer and the 44-year-old former soccer player previously revealed they got married in his home country of Scotland in July 2024.
However, during a recent episode of her Whine Down podcast, the couple revealed they actually got married months prior!

“We got married in January,” Allan said during the March 11the episode. “And we made it formal to people in July.”
Jana then shared the details of their intimate ceremony after a woman at the courthouse said her son was a notary and could perform a simple ceremony at their house.
“It was like three o’clock in the afternoon before the kids came home,” Jana dished. “He came over and he’s like, ‘All right, so no vows?’ I was like, ‘No, we want to make that special, keep it to that day.’ And it was, the piece of paper. We signed it. He [Allan] put the ring on.”
“I didn’t put my ring on,” she admitted. “We saved that as well too. But just to have that little something for us, that was special to us, that we didn’t announce to everybody.”
Allan noted that they were eager to be married after welcoming their son in November 2023.
“I think part of it was also a lot of a lot of people in our situation, i. e. foreign U.K. people, were making the legalities and the formalities long before the wedding,” he shared. “Just so they could focus on the planning of the wedding. Also, we were like desperate to marry each other.”
Jana, on the other hand, wanted to have something just for them, after being so open about her personal life.
“With this, it was nice to not say anything and let people think whatever they wanted to think,” she said. “Because I didn’t want to share, and it was something between us that we decided that we weren’t’ going to elaborate on it.”
Late last year, Jana and Allan revealed one thing she’s not allowed to do when acting, saying it’s “not good for a marriage.”
