In 2020, it was announced that the CW ordered a pilot for a young adult re-imagining of the hit show The Powerpuff Girls written by Diablo Cody and Heather Regnier.
The pilot was shot in 2021 and starred Chloe Bennet (Blossom), Dove Cameron (Bubbles), and Yana Perrault (Buttercup) as the trio and Donald Faison as their father Drake Utonium.
After rewrites and redevelopment attempts, the show was finally put out of its misery in 2023, but that didn’t stop lost media fans from finding the trailer for this disaster.
