Ione Skye and John Cusack apparently had a night together years after filming their iconic 1989 movie, Say Anything.
In Ione‘s new memoir, Say Everything, the 54-year-old actress revealed that she and John got intimate sometime around 2000, shortly after her divorce from Beastie Boys member Adam Horovitz.

“I had to get it out of my system,” she wrote in the book of their exchange.
According to Ione, she and John had crushes on each other while playing lovers Diane and Lloyd in Say Anything, but did not act on it until years later.
Ione also said she showed John what she wrote about their hookup in her book, and he was disappointed in the way he was depicted.
“You made the experience sound so meh! It wasn’t ‘meh’ for me,” he reportedly texted her, per People.
“I was like, I’m telling a story, and it was more about how all of our chemistry was in our working together and stimulating each other’s minds, not sleeping together! I felt a little bad, but, oh well,” Ione said.
As for Ione‘s recent endeavors, she is currently in the cast of an upcoming remake of a legendary horror movie.
