-Things got heated on the latest Boy Meets World rewatch podcast ‘Podcast Meets World’ when Maitland Ward guested with hosts Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong, with the actress calling it “orchestrated.”
-Matland played Rachel McGuire for the last seasons of the series and recently it appears her relationship with the cast has soured
-Fishel asked Ward, “Do you hate us?” in regards to comments Ward had made about the podcast in the press. “No, I do not hate you,” Ward said. “I think that you hate me because you wouldn’t speak to me on Girl Meets World, and that was hurtful.”
-After the explosive confrontation, Matland stated Friedle kept encouraging her to do the podcast, promising her it would “be so much fun. “If he knew this was gonna happen like this and didn’t give me any warning about it, that really sucks. That really, it’s just a betrayal that way from him,” she said, adding that now she feels like “I can’t trust that he would ever watch out for me in a situation or have my back.”
