Taylor Swift has brought out the best in boyfriend Travis Kelce, and an insider exclusively tells Life & Style that their romance has made him “become a better man.”
“Travis has had girlfriends before, but none that he tried to impress the way he has with Taylor,” a source exclusively tells Life & Style, noting that he’s changed for the better since they started dating in the summer of 2023. “Taylor comes first in his life. This is a big deal for Travis.”
Taylor, 35, and Travis, 35, first confirmed their romance in September 2023 when she attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. They quickly became one of the most talked about couples in Hollywood, and the pair have actively supported each other at their work events. While Taylor has attended several of Travis’ games, including both the 2024 and 2025 Super Bowls, he had flown around the world to support her at her Eras tour before it came to an end in December 2024.
Not only has the insider seen a change in Travis, but so has his older brother, Jason Kelce. While appearing on the “Fitz & Whit” podcast on February 18, Jason, 37, spoke about Travis’ growth in recent years.
“One of the things I love so much about Travis is that he never grew up,” Jason said while reflecting on his younger brother’s former bachelor pad, adding that he’s “growing up now.”
After noting that the tight end is “changing,” Jason seemingly alluded to his romance with Taylor. “I think sometimes you get people in your life that maybe get that out of you and that’s a good thing,” he said.
While Jason did say that Travis is “growing up,” the retired athlete added that his brother has maintained his “youthful enthusiasm.”
“I think he’ll always have that. It’s just part of his personality. … Anyone that’s ever met Trav, you can’t but just love the guy,” Jason continued. “He’s a free spirit in the best possible way.”
Taylor and Travis have managed to keep many details of their romance out of the spotlight. However, he recently revealed that he listens to Taylor’s music when he’s feeling down. “The only way to find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first,” he said during the Wednesday, February 26, episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “I listen to music that is very telling of my mood — yes.”
“I just listen to Taylor’s songs. She has something for everything,” Travis added. Jason then agreed by chiming in, “No matter what mood, you can find some Taylor music.”
And while Taylor and Travis haven’t publicly spoken about their plans for the future, an additional insider exclusively told Life & Style in January that she “is ready for this next chapter to begin with the love of her life” following the end of her Eras tour.
The source added that she and Travis have “got a lot to look forward to, and they couldn’t be more excited about it.”
